About Us
The Mid-Atlantic Banner Users Group (MABUG) is an association of colleges and universities in Delaware, Maryland,
the District of Columbia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Any
SunGard Banner
user
from an institution in this region is eligible for membership, and there is no cost to join. It is our
hope that through
communication and sharing, our member institutions will maximize their use of SunGard Banner.
MABUG meets twice each year: once briefly at SunGard Summit, and again at a two day conference hosted by a
member institution. At the conference, sessions will be presented of interest to both functional and technical
Banner users.
MABUG is also working to build a library where member institutions may share reports, documentation and multimedia
with one another on an "as is" basis (i.e. the information is available, but cannot be modified or supported
by the originating institution).
We also hope to speak to Sungard Higher Education with one voice on matters of common interest.
